The Senior Reporting and Analytics Manager leads a team of driven analytics and reporting analysts, with direct accountability for providing data analysis and reporting to our key Supply Chain and business partners.  This role will lead the team to deliver reporting and data-driven solutions that can provide leadership insights and guidance around KPI’s, business performance and initiatives.  The Senior Manager seeks to understand new trends, the operational drivers behind the results and can present findings along with business opportunities to help course correct and drive the business forward.

This role requires strong leadership and management skills, advanced understanding of analytic best practices and models, strong understanding of a database structure and design as well as a complete appreciation of the relationship between front-end, back-end and reporting systems.



  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly fill rate reporting and analysis.
  • Accountable for aging inventory management, including proactive reporting and selling at a discounted price.  
  • Accountable for daily, weekly, monthly reporting for Supply Chain partners.
  • Prepare segmentation files monthly/by channel and nationwide. Alert channels to underperforming sku’s. 
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and potential assignment to special studies/teams to assist management in evaluating key opportunities for the company.
  • Work with leadership teams across Supply Chain and the business to provide key reporting solutions to drive results.
  • Work with BI teams to enable data architecture and solutions that are best meeting analytics and reporting needs of various analytics groups.
  • Frame new reporting solutions (and coach the team to develop), including key metrics to be reflected in the most consumable layout for all levels of the organization.
  • Accountable for the Data Lake and ensuring data is updated and accurate for all team members to utilize.
  • Accountable for all OTIF (on-time and in-full) reporting and communication on drivers to finance and business partners.
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team on developing key performance indicators and benchmarks across departments; develop process for measurement and reporting; communicate actionable results to leadership via dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide necessary reporting requirements in support of new key business projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and develop an analytic team that delivers timely and high-quality analyses that inform of insights and recommended actions to drive efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Be able and willing to jump in and execute on reporting/analysis objectives in a constantly changing and cross-functional environment

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 8+years relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required.
  • Ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data for key business recommendations.
  • Prefer proficiency in Business Intelligent and an understanding of SAP R/3.
  • Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management (coaching, development, and work design), results focus and inspirational leadership.
  • Comfortable with extracting and manipulating large datasets with SQL, SAS, etc.
  • Solid interpersonal, organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with the sales team.
  • Ability to develop and present compelling business cases to stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, SAS, Business Objects
  • Deep experience in communicating via Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Possess the ability to quickly synthesize data requirements and provide exceptional results with minimal guidance.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts and analyses in a clear and concise manner to all levels of an organization

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance to Analytics and Reporting Analysts.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
